Coastal Rags is a family oriented company that has been successfully in business for two generations. Coastal Rags is involved in the Export and Import business of used clothing and textiles.

Seeking to meet the needs of their customers, Coastal Rags is a business founded on family values. For this reason, Coastal Rags dedicates its time to its clients while providing a family oriented environment that allows everyone to feel welcomed and appreciated.

Coastal Rags is a second generation family owned and operated company that has been in business for over forty years. The bulk of Coastal Rags business undertakings involve the import/ export of new and used clothing and textiles around the world.

Being a company founded on family values and ethics, Coastal Rags number one objective is to meet the needs and demands of its valued customers. These values will become apparent to our customers when they visit our warehouse and receive the time and dedication to their individual needs that the team at Coastal Rags supplies. At Coastal Rags we are committed to providing a family friendly environment that allows everyone to feel welcomed and appreciated.

About Coastal Rags

Coastal Rags is a family business that began in 1967.

It was founded by Mr. Hachem in Beirut, Lebanon. The business consists of selling high volume quantities of used clothing. As the market grew, so did Mr. Hachem’s business.

In the year 1970 a second warehouse opened in Belgium. This warehouse also specialized in the sale of used clothing as well as new market which consisted of exporting these items mainly to Africa and the Middle East.

In 1989 a third warehouse opened in Detroit, Michigan, consolidating a new path in the North American market. Exports of materials now include Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

In 2000, Miami was the chosen city for Mr. Hachem to open his fourth warehouse. This company continues to expand and is constantly pushing to become no.1 in the market.

New exports now include Asia, Central and South America, the Caribbean as well as the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

The Hachem Family is now represented by its second generation in the business of exporting and importing used clothes and textiles.

Store returned clothing is a return of an off-season clothing from department stores. We can supply these items by the piece or by the pound.

We have a variety of quality mixed shoes which consist of rubber-banded used shoes.

*The shoes do not consist of high heels, winter boots or roller blades.

Our Hard Store Returns are in good condition and are of great quality. We receive Refrigerators, TV's, Tables, Chairs and many more items on a daily basis. This merchandise is sold 'by Container'.
